JIM DENISON

Jim Denison is a managing partner in Adams & Graham, L.L.P. He practices primarily in the areas of:

Litigation
Personal Injury - Defense
Insurance Law
Medical Malpractice

Mr. Denison has been involved in various types of business litigation and handled numerous appellate cases in both State and Federal courts. Mr. Denison became a partner with Adams & Graham, L.L. P. in June 1980, and has since been engaged primarily in the defense of personal injury cases as well as the defense of malpractice claims.

He is a past member of the Consumer Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, having served on its council as Treasurer and Secretary, and having received from the Section its outstanding service award for the year 1979-1980. He is a member of the Hospital Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and is a co-author of Chapter 15 of the State Bar treatise, "Appellate Procedure in Texas", 2^nd Edition.

Mr. Denison is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has served as Chairman of the Admissions Committee with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Brownsville Division. He is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation and previously served as a member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of Texas Insurance Trust. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Cameron County Bar Association and served, in previous years as its Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President, President-Elect and President. He has also served as a member and past Chairman of District 12-B Grievance Committee of the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Denison has served as a member of the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees and as its Vice-President and President. He is currently Chairman of the South Texas Chapter of the American Red Cross and a member of the Board of the Harlingen Industrial Foundation. Mr. Denison is currently serving as President of the Harlingen Economic Development Corp.

Mr. Denison was born in 1940, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Dallas, a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Texas and a Law Degree from the University of Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas Law School with honors and was a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary legal fraternity.
